Giving BackGiving Back has enriched our lives and given us an insight into our Belizean community at home. Helping our community has given us an opportunity to fit into the world. Our happiness is not reliant on what we get but more so from what we give back.

In 2020, PUC, partnered with the Stanford/Meighan family to start our feeding program for the homeless people in Belize. This family is known throughout Belize City for their tasty dishes. Our star operator is Audrey Stanford, she prepares all the meals and she and her family head out to feed the homeless. We feed the homeless Sunday dinner on the last Sunday of every month. We originally started out feeding 25 people with food and drinks and now we are up 50-75 people and we are continuing growing. On Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, we also serve breakfast. In the very near future, we will providing meals to eldercare homes as well.

“At the end it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished. It’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.”
